GSA Email 1/11/10

Hey everyone!

Sorry this is a little late - but it's before the next meeting, so woo!

Also I'm working off of a sort of old email list. If you don't want to get these emails, please email me back let me know.

So last week we started off talking about the Prop 8 hearings - specifically, whether they should be televised or not. The people who argued that it should be televised basically said that it is a momentous case and those that want to follow it should be able to follow… Continue

GSA E-Mail 11/17/08

Hey y'all! So I need to make this super quick since I'm still drowning work, so let's get right to business!

Transgender Day of Remembrance is TOMORROW! Here is what YOU can do:

-attend one of the assemblies during E, F, or G blocks (if you have a class and are planning to come make sure your teacher knows about it)

GSA Meeting - 10/27/08

Look, I'm writing the e-mail on Monday! Shocking, I know.

So we had a pretty low-key meeting today but we still got a good discussion going.

So we started talking about the middle school project. The basic info is that we'll be going to Brown on Tuesday, December 9th, and we have four classes to go to, which will mean we'll take about 8 people. We have more volunteers than we need at the moment, and we'll probably ask again next meeting, so please know that we'll probably… Continue

GSA Meeting - 10/20/08

Hi, everyone! Time for yet another mid-week GSA update (I swear, next week, it'll be on time)...

So, announcement! We've officially gotten word from Mr. McGraw that we'll be going over to Brown on Tuesday, December 9th. Mark and I are working out the details, so we'll talk about those this coming Monday.

The first BAGLY dance was over the weekend. For those of you who missed out and would like to come, there are two more! The Winter Ball in February and the Prom towards… Continue
